In Version 2.0, we have made changes that cause it to work properly with multiple
users on computers running an NT based Windows operating system.
 
Due to the fact that version 2.0 saves each users backup files in his or her own
folder instead of all backup files in a single folder designed for all users, Backup
files made with the older version of backup maker will not be compatible with this
version. We are sorry if this causes you any inconvenience.

PLEASE NOTE:
This version should work correctly with earlier versions of Windows, although it has
not been tested on any version other than XP. Should you have any problems, please
contact us and give us the information on which version of Windows you are running
and what the problem is. We will try to correct it if at all possible! Thank you.


ABOUT BACKUP MAKER
------------------

Backup maker is designed to be a powerful but easy to use backup program. It can be
used to backup files from one or more selected folders and saves this list so that
you may back up the same folders later without having to select them again. Among
its many features is the ability to enter a folder into the backup list and backup
maker will backup all files in the folder selected and all of its subfolders. Backup
maker can also mark your files so that once it has backed up these files the first
time it does not back them up again until they have been modified. This drastically
decreased the time it takes to complete a backup set. Backup maker also has many
other very useful options that are all designed to be easily used.

Backup maker is a stand-alone program originally designed for our own personal use.
we later decided that it should be made available for anyone who would like to use
it. All you have to do is just drop it into any folder you chose and double click
the Backup maker icon.

PLEASE NOTE:
Backup maker uses the archive property to decide the files that will be backed up. If
you use any other backup program that uses or resets the archive flag, you may find
files that fail to be backed up. Please run backup maker and read the instructions
for more detailed information.
