BLANK THEME read me: CREATING THEMES FOR RANDOMAZE 3-D To create a new Theme for Randomaze 3-D, you need to create (at minimum) a set of basic maze elements (as .bmp files), along with optional additional items such as other image elements (.bmp), messages (.txt), story (.rtf), sounds (.wav) and music (.mid). The Blank Theme\ folder contains templates for all maze element images and icons. The file elements.txt describes those files, as well as additional files that can be included in a theme. You may also want to look at the Sample Theme (and other themes) to get a better idea of how the various elements can be modified. INSTALLING THEMES INTO RANDOMAZE 3-D To install a Theme into Randomaze 3-D, simply place the theme's folder in the same location as the Randomaze 3-D program (randomaze3d.exe). When you run Randomaze 3-D, your new theme should be listed in the drop-down box. ABOUT THEMES Although Randomaze only has one basic theme, it is designed so that it can be played with many different themes. Each of these themes can have different graphics, sounds, and messages. We are now in the process of designing several themes and hope to have them ready soon.
